Check-in and Check-out Procedures

  • Check-in is after 4pm and check-out is by 10am.
  • Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.

Property Access

  • Guests do not have access to the locked off portion of the Sportsman's Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.
  • The garage is not available for guest use.
  • Copperleaf has convenient paved access all the way to the driveway.
  • No more than 4 cars allowed at all times. Absolutely no parking in the street.

Policies and Rules

  • No smoking allowed.
  • No events allowed. Events of any kind are strictly prohibited at Copperleaf. Weddings, reunions, catering, etc. are all absolutely forbidden. No exceptions will be made.
  • No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
  • Children allowed.
  • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
  • 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. The main roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access all properties in winter months. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
  • All stays at Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the facilities and features in the development.
  • Eagles Nest is an up and coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.
  • Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATVs. For information about ATV rentals please visit: Off Road Adventures website.
  • Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment, etc.).
  • The summer concerts are open to all guests. There may be an admission fee for each person and a cash bar for food and drinks.
  • All Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.

Pets

  • This property does not permit pets anywhere in or on the premises at any time including outdoor spaces. Bona fide service animals with appropriate certification may be permitted, and the presence of a certified service animal must be disclosed prior to check-in. Misrepresenting a pet as a certified service animal is a crime under North Carolina law. Guests who bring a pet to a no-pet home will be subject to a non-refundable $500 extra cleaning fee to remove pet hair and dander and clean carpets and upholstery. If any pets are discovered during your tenancy including via security camera or observation of neighbors or BRMR staff, your credit card on file will be charged for the above-mentioned fee, and you will be evicted without refund of unused days.
  • This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets into this home.

Fees and Payments

  • All stays at Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the facilities and features in the development.
  • Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax per night.
  • The summer concerts are open to all guests. There may be an admission fee for each person and a cash bar for food and drinks.
  • Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each.
  • Cancellation Policy: Strict. Cancellations 60+ days prior to arrival receive a full refund minus the $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 60 days of arrival will not be refunded unless the dates are rebooked to another traveler.

Parking Information

  • No more than 4 cars allowed at all times. Absolutely no parking in the street.
  • The garage is not available for guest use.

Utilities and Amenities Access

  • All BRMR homes offer well-stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a starter set of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
  • Towels and linens will be provided.
  • High-speed internet is available.
  • Clothes washing machine and dryer are available.
  • Dishwasher is available.
  • Oven and stove are available.
  • Landline phone is available.
